TOKYO, Japan, February 23, 2009 - Honda announced that Takanobu Ito,
currently the company's Senior Managing Director, will become the
seventh President & Chief Executive Officer of Honda Motor effective
in late June 2009.

2) Honda Announces Management Changes

TOKYO, Japan, February 23, 2009 - Honda announced management changes
subject to approval at the General Meeting of Shareholders and at the
