1) Briscoe Starts Off Strong With St. Petersburg Victory
IRL IndyCar Series Round 01: Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG, USA, April 5, 2009 - Ryan Briscoe demonstrated he had
an edge when it mattered the most - late in the race - to open the 2009
IndyCar Series with a finely-judged victory Sunday at the Honda Grand
Prix of St. Petersburg.

3) Marvellous Musquin Takes Maiden MX2 Success
2009 FIM MX1/MX2 World Motocross Championship Round 02: Grand Prix of
Bulgaria

SEVLIEVO, Bulgaria, April 5 - French teenager Marvin Musquin made
history at the Bulgarian round of the FIM Motocross World Championship,
the second race of the season and in as many weeks, by winning his
first MX2 Grand Prix and giving his NGS team their first ever set of
grand prix silverware.

4) Bou Heads Title Race after Opening Grand Prix
FIM World Trial Championship Series 2009 Round 01: Donard Park, Ireland

DONALD PARK, Ireland, April 5 - The 2009 SPEA FIM Trial World
Championship kicked off with a tough opening Grand Prix held at the
coastal town of Newcastle in Northern Ireland. After two days of fierce
competition Toni Bou heads the title race by virtue of a better second
day result.
