1) Briscoe Wins Photo Finish At Chicagoland
IRL IndyCar Series Round 15: Chicagoland Speedway
JOLIET, USA, August 29, 2009 - Team Penske's Ryan Briscoe and Target
Chip Ganassi Racing's Scott Dixon battled wheel-to-wheel for the final
10 laps of the Peak Indy 300 at Chicagoland Speedway. At the checkers,
it was Briscoe edging Dixon by less than eight-thousandths of a second,
the fourth-closest finish in IndyCar Series history.

ever MotoGP podium with a strong second place finish in the surprising

3) Desalle Third in Penultimate GP Outing
2009 FIM MX1/MX2 World Motocross Championship Round 14: Grand Prix of
Netherlands
LIEROP, Netherlands, August 30, 2009 - The penultimate round of the FIM
Motocross World Championship took place at Lierop for the Grand Prix of
the Netherlands. LS Motors Honda's Clement Desalle guided his CRF450R
to third position for his sixth podium result of 2009 across the
technical and energy draining Dutch sand.
